Since being named as a Director with Sarasota Crew, I have been amazed at all the accomplishments these athletes complete, and excited for every upcoming challenge.

I am so pleased that 7 of our Crew athletes got to participate in the World Rowing Competition in Rotterham!

The good news doesn’t end there - Mens Junior 4X brought home a Bronze medal with 3 out of the 4 athletes being Sarasota locals! Congrats guys!

The World Rowing Championship regatta is the biggest annual World Rowing event and the most important of the season. It is held at the end of the season. The regatta is held over eight days using a progression system from heats through to finals and ensuring that there is sufficient rest time between boat classes for the athletes.
